How to reach the bunker on foot
To ensure your security, we recommend using a
well-maintained trail that runs along the old road to the borders and continues
to the bunker across the field (marked with a red line on the map below).
Distance: 500 m.
The old road runs between the gas station and the railway
crossing. Junction of streets Ostravská and Čs. armády.
Bus
To get near to the bunker, you can use the bus line 555 to
the stop “Bohumín, Pudlov, Rybena” (desired stop). The bus line goes from Ostrava
via “Bohumín, Nový Bohumín, žel.st.”. However, only every second bus takes this
route to the desired stop. For example, you can search a suitable connection at IDOS
How to get to the bunker by car
There is free parking for several cars and two buses near
the bunker.
If you drive on the D1 highway from the direction of
Ostrava
(between Ostrava and Bohumín, the highway is free of
charge), you shall use the exit 370 (Bohumín) at the roundabout and take the
first road to the right towards Chalupki (PL) and the highway towards Ostrava;
and before you reach the bridge over the highway, take a right-hand turn to the
parking place at the bunker.
If you drive along the road No. 1/67 from the
direction of Karviná
towards Chalupki (PL) or the slip-road onto the
D1 highway in the direction of Ostrava, then just behind the roundabout but
before you reach the bridge over the highway, take a right-hand turn to the
parking place at the bunker.
If you drive along the road No. 1/67 from the
direction of borders with Poland
you shall pass the slip road onto D1 highway in the
direction of Ostrava and cross the bridge; right behind it, you shall turn left
to the bunker parking place.

How to reach the bunker on bike

on asphalt road (marked with a red line on the map below). Distance: 500 m.
The old road runs between the gas station and the railway
crossing. Detour to the bunker is located at the junction of streets Ostravská
(cycle path E) and Čs. armády.
